General

Summary:

Under the direction of the Manager, Rehabilitation, provides occupational therapy services to patients following the plan of care established by an occupational therapist.

Essential Functions:
  • Implements the plan of care developed by the Occupational Therapist.
  • Instructs client and caregiver in treatment programs, precautions, and equipment use as necessary and documents client/caregiver demonstration of instructions provided.
  • Documents client status and progression towards achievement of outcomes on each visit in measureable parameters.
  • Submits accurate and complete billing for each patient.
  • Is responsible to work within the guidelines and authorization provided by the individual's insurance coverage, AND/OR Medicare guidelines.
  • Demonstrates dependability/flexibility in meeting scheduling needs of the department and facility.
  • Consistently strives to be a productive member of the institution and always puts time to good use.

Associates or better in Health Services Administration.
