Position Summary

Under the direction of a Radiologist, the XR Tech I/CT Tech I performs diagnostic radiographic and computed tomography (CT) procedures while ensuring exceptional patient care and safety. This role collaborates closely with members of the Imaging Services team and other departments throughout the organization to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.

Essential Functions
  • Performs radiographic, fluoroscopic, and interventional CT procedures according to established protocols.
  • Reviews images for quality and consults with Radiologists regarding findings and reporting as appropriate.
  • Maintains procedure rooms and work areas to ensure optimal efficiency and readiness.
  • Operates and maintains imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions and ensuring proper functionality.
  • Adheres to Ohio Department of Health (ODH) standards and all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrates respect, compassion, and professionalism toward patients, families, visitors, and fellow team members.
  • Collaborates effectively with the Imaging Services team and other departments to support organizational goals and deliver exceptional care.
  • Accurately completes required documentation and general clerical responsibilities.
  • Participates in departmental quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
