The Person al Care Assistant assists older people who are functionally, physically, and/or socially impaired and need 24‑hour oversight. The role helps residents with activities of daily living (ADL) they cannot perform alone, fostering independence and freedom of choice.

• Assist with ADL: bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, mobility.
• Provide instrumental activities of daily living: medication coordination, meal assistance, dining support.
• Health maintenance and monitoring tasks.
• Organize and facilitate activity program.
• Emergency preparedness and response.
• Leadership and administrative duties: attend staff meetings, participate in in-service training, assist in quality assurance, support training of new staff.

• CPR certification.
• First Aid training.
• State‑tested nursing assistant in Ohio preferred.
• Self‑motivated, independent decision‑maker.
• Strong interpersonal skills; courteous and diplomatic with residents and staff.
• Flexible hours availability, including holidays.

• Physical demands: standing/walking 6‑8 hrs, sitting 1‑2 hrs, bending, squatting, lifting up to 25 lb 1/3 or more of time.
• Exposure: body fluids present.

• Knowledge of patient rights, confidentiality, and privacy.
• Adherence to safety protocols, exposure control, and regulatory compliance.
