Designed for new RN graduates with less than one year of experience, the program focuses on critical thinking, clinical leadership, and decision‑making. Participants receive:
- Comprehensive orientation to the organization.
- Clinical nursing orientation.
- Monthly 3‑hour educational events (didactic, hands‑on, mock scenarios).
- Pre‑work to enhance critical thinking.
- Simulated experiences and courses to deepen evidence‑based practice knowledge.
- Participation in the Clinical Ladder Program.
- Opportunity to obtain ACLS and PALS certification.
Classes for the 12‑month residency program begin in August 2026. Nursing/Clinical orientation may be initiated prior to August.
Requirements- Graduate of an accredited nursing program before the start of classes in August 2026.
- Ohio Board of Nursing RN license by start of program (August 2026).
- Less than one year of experience as a registered nurse.
- Basic Life Support certification.
