Position SummaryLicensed Independent Social Worker, experience working in long‑term care facilities or with the geriatric population is a plus. You must be a Licensed Independent Social Worker, Licensed Social Worker or LPCC to apply.
Job DescriptionWe are hiring Licensed Independent Social Workers or Licensed Social Workers to provide counseling services in long‑term care centers in the Norwalk area. This position is available for full time and part time hours with flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy to residents
- Provide counseling from the day a resident enters the facility through their stay
- Conduct in‑service training for facility staff on resident support
- Maintain good working relationships with facility staff and residents
- Licensed Independent Social Worker, Licensed Social Worker, or LPCC
- Experience with long‑term care or geriatric populations is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills, personable, flexible
