Tax Accountant is responsible for the preparation of US and Canadian Income tax returns and related reports to ensure company compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local tax regulations, including calculating estimated payments and performing account reconciliations, assistance with annual and quarterly income tax provision, supporting the manager in complying with income and indirect tax audit requests, and minimizing company tax liability through sound and informed application of tax laws and regulations that permit alternate treatment of taxable items.
