Assistant Project Manager - Wind Construction Projects

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the successful execution of several large-scale renewable energy construction projects, including utility-scale wind farms valued between $1.3 billion and $2+ billion. You will partner with Project Managers and teams throughout the project lifecycle, supporting both pre-construction planning and active construction activities. You will have experience in construction project management, industrial or utility-scale projects, reporting to the Project Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience delivering some of the largest renewable energy infrastructure projects in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Project Managers in the execution and delivery of large-scale wind farm construction projects.
• Review engineering drawings, project plans, and construction documentation during pre-construction activities.
• Participate in design reviews, planning meetings, and construction readiness discussions.
• Coordinate with teams, including construction, engineering, materials, and sourcing groups.
• Maintain a regular on-site presence during construction to monitor progress and assist with issue resolution.
• Track project activities, identify risks, and help resolve daily construction challenges.
• Support project reporting, documentation, and overall project controls.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience with utility, renewable energy, industrial, or infrastructure construction projects.
• Wind energy or turbine construction experience.
• Engineering degree or technical background.
• PMP certification or progress toward PMP certification.
• 1+ years of experience supporting large-scale capital projects.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $45.00/hour to $50.00/hour.
