Our comprehensive curriculum emphasizes literacy in language and mathematics, ensuring rigorous standards and differentiated instruction for all learners. Founded in 1995, we uphold core principles that promote academic excellence, community service, and preparation for future success. Through project-based and experiential learning, students engage in intellectual exploration across various fields, fostering teamwork, communication, and service.

We are committed to nurturing social and emotional health, equity, and empowering students to make a global impact.

Our school is fully inclusive and diverse. SSCPS is a K-12 public charter school that serves 1,200 students. As a public school we are tuition-free. Our students come from over thirty-one communities along the South Shore; the top three districts our students come from are Brockton, Randolph, and Weymouth. Our families bring a panoply of cultural and racial diversity to our community, representing many different countries of origin with over 40 languages spoken at home.

At SSCPS, we take pride in our unique curriculum designed to prepare students for higher education while offering them a diverse and welcoming learning environment. SSCPS teachers are expected to cultivate and sustain meaningful partnerships with families from diverse backgrounds. Faculty remain dedicated to supporting student achievement and fostering well-being every day. By demonstrating high expectations for all students, as well as a commitment to providing the support necessary to attain these expectations, the SSCPS teacher fosters school improvement and community support.

The SSCPS teacher demonstrates cultural competency and antiracist leadership through behaviors and decision-making both in and out of the classroom. In so doing the SSCPS teacher maintains a collegial environment that honors the teaching profession and encourages continuous learning.
