South Shore Charter Public School (SSCPS) is a free public charter school serving 1,200 students from kindergarten through grade 12. Our mission is to inspire every student to excel in academics, service, and life. The school is located in Norwell, MA, and serves students from over thirty‑one communities along the South Shore.

• Assess the math strengths and needs of students, provide that information to parents and educational staff, and use the results to support the planning and implementation of an effective intervention program for K‑5 students.
• Work with teachers to examine data and monitor student progress, assisting teachers in using data to inform instruction (e.g., grouping, identifying students for supplemental instruction or intensive interventions).
• Collaborate with teachers, the K‑5 Principal, the Math Curriculum Coordinator, and the Director of Teaching and Learning to select students in need of math intervention.
• Provide math intervention to students who are struggling with math using proven curricular materials.
• Complete necessary Title I paperwork as assigned.
• Communicate with families as needed and through the completion of midyear and final progress reports for Title I math students.
• Contribute to fall family Title I information sessions and other family meetings and events throughout the school year.
• Assist the Principal in budget preparation for Title I and in the selection of K‑5 math curriculum materials.
• Attend school‑related activities as needed.
• Perform such tasks and take on additional responsibilities as may be directed by the Principal to ensure a positive learning environment for all students and the smooth operation of the school.

• Must pass all criminal history checks.
• Candidate must have a Massachusetts DESE elementary license to teach, or must take and pass the appropriate MTEL exams within the first year of employment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
