Westinghouse is recruiting Junior Health Physics Technicians to work at different Nuclear Power Plants within the United States. Provide Radiation Protection coverage and oversight for power‑plant activities. In addition to providing job coverage, certain routine tasks may be assigned based on individual certifications, qualifications, and skills.

Provide Radiation Protection coverage and oversight as required for power‑plant activities. Routine tasks may include the following:

• Radiation and contamination surveys
• Material and equipment surveys
• Material escort
• Help with ALARA planning
• Help with decontamination activities
• Support of Site Emergency Plan

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must train following applicable local, state, and federal OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations.
• Can obtain a Level II Nuclear Access Badge.
• Can meet all applicable requirements to maintain unescorted access.
