Technical Services Specialist Level 1 Associate

Contract 1 Year

West Palm Beach, FL - 100% onsite

Your Day-to-Day:

Apply diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to a broad variety of assignments and related fields.
Act as a single point of contact for projects in the service territory.
Responsible for communicating essential information about project scope until customer is satisfied.
Must be knowledgeable and proficient in the design of the Distribution System, both in new construction and maintenance activities.
Perform work order assessment and completion of the most complex of designs to meet internal/external customer needs and valid FPL requirements.
Coordinate planning, organization, and implementation of engineering projects with other operating or engineering units to facilitate assignment completion.
Produce a resource estimate (i.e., work hours, materials, work type) necessary to execute the work.
Evaluate distribution system capability to serve new load while understanding and mitigating potential future impacts of the new load.
Provide and maintain cost-effective design while considering the impact to the customer and valid customer requests.
Project management, design, estimating, negotiations, performance tracking, and reporting.
Responsible for all aspects of engineering design and permitting.
Work with other departments within the organization to establish customer requirements and project cost.

Who You Are:

Bachelor's Degree in related field of study or High School Diploma/GED and equivalent work experience.
3+ years' experience in a combination of the following areas:
Distribution/Utility
Customer interactions and negotiations
Electric Power Technology Certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in related field of study (Primary (Essential)).

Benefits & Pay:

We estimate the base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon review of qualifications, to be $29/hour to $34/hour.
