Project Controls Analyst - Capital Projects

Denver, CO – Hybrid. Onsite:
Tuesday–Thursday, Remote:
Monday & Friday.

Project Controls Analyst to support the Gas Capital Portfolio. Focus on project financials, cost analysis, and closeout activities to keep capital projects tracked, compliant, and closed within SAP.

• Review project costs versus budgets and forecasts; investigate and document variances.
• Manage project closeouts in SAP and ensure SOX compliance.
• Support project controls processes, including WBS, cost tracking, scheduling, and reporting.
• Develop reports (cost reports, CPI/SPI, variance tracking).
• Perform data validation and QA/QC on project financials, materials, and closeouts.
• Collaborate with project teams to gather data, resolve issues, and communicate updates.
• Serve as a key SAP user supporting project setup, tracking, and system improvements.

• Hands‑on SAP experience (required) – project financials, cost tracking, or closeouts.
• Experience in project controls, project coordination, financial analysis, or capital project support.
• Ability to analyze project costs, identify variances, and interpret financial data.
• Understanding of the project lifecycle and operations.

Base salary range for this position, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills, is estimated to be $48–53 per hour.
