Responsible for working in conjunction with the Vice President, AVP’s and Program Directors of all Road to Responsibility, Inc. residential programs for the oversight of the clinical services within each program, by reviewing the quality of services provided in each program in accordance with the Division of Medical Assistance regulations and the Department of Developmental Services. Continually seek to develop the quality of services, the behavior plans and the Individual Support Plan content through the adoption of best practices within and outside of the industry.

Must have a working knowledge of Applied Behavioral Analysis and positive behavioral training to effectively assess behavioral issues of individuals, and develop behavioral treatm
000000ent programs that reduce maladaptive behaviors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Working in conjunction with VP, AVP’s of Residential Services and Program Directors to ensure that the programs clinical/behavioral services meet the regulatory requirements of the Division Medical Assistance and the Department of Developmental  an active member of the program team to assist in guiding the teams in their role as they relate to behavior services and ensure timely and thorough reporting in accordance with DMA/DDS regulations.

When necessary make recommendations to the teams and ensure implementation of those recommendations.

Collaborate with families, guardians, day providers and Psychiatrists in the development of treatment programs for individuals as needed.

Work in conjunction with the Program Directors to establish systems of records and reports, including but not limited to daily, monthly and quarterly reports and tracking systems for all clinical/behavioral paperwork.

Provide support and supervision surrounding crisis issues, including implementing and oversight of crisis team meetings/intervention when necessary.

Provide training and education to staff relating to individuals clinical needs.

Cooperate and interact with co-workers, program members, volunteers, and funders in a collaborative, courteous, empathic, and professional manner. Demonstrate willingness and ability to be part of the team effort.

Participate in on-the-job training and provide coaching to new co-workers as directed.

Attend all required meetings.

Adhere to agency safety standards.

Perform additional duties or substitute for others as required.

Adhere to all RTR polices and procedures.

Develop and provide all services in accordance with RTR’s philosophies including staff and Board beliefs.

Master’s Degree in Psychology or Social Work. Three years of work experience in a training program for the developmentally disabled. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) preferred.

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and the internet.

Valid Driver’s License.

Successful completion of all state and agency mandated trainings.

Must be willing to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information concerning allegations from Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC), Department of Developmental Services (DDS), and other agencies.
