Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Cardiology

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Ambulatory Cardiology RN with MA licensure and prior outpatient nursing experience for a busy cardiology practice.

• Active MA RN license required
• 1-2 years acute care nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year ambulatory/outpatient nursing experience
• Telephone triage experience required
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and care coordination skills
• Epic EMR experience required
• Cardiology experience preferred
• Telemetry experience and/or cardiac monitoring knowledge preferred
• Ambulatory Epic experience preferred
• BSN preferred

• Outpatient cardiology practice setting
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, telephone triage, care coordination, patient education, and provider support
• Monday-Friday day shift schedule, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• No on-call requirements
• Blue scrubs recommended though no strict color requirement
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate for those within 50 miles of the facility
• RTO limited to no more than 7 days during the assignment
• Former perm staff at this facility are not eligible to return as travelers
