Senior Account Manager – Commercial Lines team
OverviewResponsible for servicing assigned commercial insurance accounts with a designated Producer and for account rounding and development of new business in accordance with company practices and policies.
Responsibilities- Review and analyze commercial accounts for coverage, limits, and other key variables; make appropriate recommendations to clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure all service needs are met.
- Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads; contribute to departmental production goals.
- Gather information from clients and prepare applications for submission to the Marketing Department for new or renewal coverage.
- Prepare client proposals based on client needs, rates, and coverages.
- Prepare all transaction documents for assigned accounts, including applications, certificates of insurance, invoices, and forms.
- Maintain accuracy of data in the agency management system.
- Handle collections of premiums due as needed.
- Conduct business in a manner that reflects understanding of both business operations and earnings implications for the company.
- Keep informed of industry changes and trends to anticipate and respond to profit objectives.
- Perform other responsibilities assigned by the Manager.
- Experience in commercial insurance.
- Thorough knowledge of commercial lines coverages and markets.
- Producer’s license.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to work in a team environment.

5–7 years of relevant experience.

Expected salary range: $80,000 – $130,000 annually, dependent on skills, experience, and working location.
