Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Electrician to join our security business unit.

• Take lead on and support with repair/maintenance and the general installation of Mission Critical systems throughout New England, including but not limited to:
  Security (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion), A/V, & Wireless Communication
• Perform low and medium voltage cable installation, cable management, cable terminations, device installation, and other assigned project duties as required
• Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and state regulations
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, test and repair systems and/ or equipment as necessary
• Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, conduits, and electrical distribution equipment
• Produce accurate documentation for the project as required including: system commissioning reports, Test Reports, As builts, system certification, etc.
• Provide daily project status updates, as required, and communication to the Project Management team
• Summarize, report and present non-compliant attributes of a project, site, or system
• Think clearly and logistically to make accurate decisions based on personal and professional judgement and verifiable criteria

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience with the installation and commissioning of medium voltage and low voltage/ Data Communication systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
• Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience related to all job duties of this position is required
• OSHA 10 required
• MA Journeyman Class B required
• RI Electrical Journeyman Class B required
• Reliable transportation and a valid drivers' license required
• Must be able to travel throughout New England as required (RI, MA, NH, ME)
• Must be able to work off hours if/when projects require it (second, third shift and weekends)

• Industry/ manufacturer certifications preferred
• RI Electrical Contractor Class A preferred
• Firestop Certified (Hilti or 3M) preferred
• Boom and scissor Lift Certified preferred
• MA Master Class A, a plus
• CT E-2 Unlimited Electrical Journeyman a plus

Salary
: starting at $40/hr
