Job Summary:We're seeking a Purchasing Assistant to support daily business operations by managing product and material procurement for production and manufacturing. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, strong communication and follow-through, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow in purchasing and supply chain operations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Place orders based on inventory and production needs
- Track shipments and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams to align purchases with company requirements
- Maintain and grow vendor relationships through proactive communication
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality and delivery standards
- Investigate and resolve purchase discrepancies or non-conforming materials
- Support other duties as assigned
Compensation: Pay will be offered based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, and certifications.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent education/experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role (Lean environment preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
- Advanced computer literacy required
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Macola software preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
