Backus Hospital, a member of Hartford Health Care, is seeking a Per Diem General Surgeon to join our established surgical team in Norwich, CT
. This is an excellent opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible surgeon seeking flexible scheduling within a collaborative, well-resourced hospital environment.

• Per diem coverage for general surgery call and acute care surgery
• Inpatient consults, emergency general surgery, and operative cases
• Support from experienced OR staff, anesthesia, hospitalists, and advanced practice providers
• Access to modern operating suites and surgical technology
• Efficient workflows within a community-focused hospital setting
