Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and student-centered teacher to lead a 6th grade classroom from mid-February through mid-June. This position requires teaching all core content areas and supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth during the second half of the school year.

Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging daily instruction in all core subjects, including:
* English Language Arts
* Mathematics
* Science
* Social Studies
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment that supports student learning and well-being.
* Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback to students and families.
* Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
* Collaborate with grade-level and school staff to maintain continuity of curriculum and instructional practices.
* Manage classroom routines, behavior expectations, and transitions effectively.
* Communicate consistently and professionally with parents/guardians, administrators, and support staff.
* Participate in required school events, meetings, and professional responsibilities.
Qualifications:
* Valid teaching certification (Elementary or Middle School level preferred).
* Experience teaching or working with upper elementary/middle school students.
* Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
* Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
* Flexibility and adaptability to step into an established classroom mid-year.
