Montessori Discovery School is seeking a Primary (3-6) Montessori credentialed teacher to join our Primary Elementary classroom.

Montessori Discovery School is seeking an AMI-credentialed Primary Guide to lead one of our 3-to-6 classrooms. We are looking for a person who enjoys working in a small school with a welcoming staff and engaged parents and students. Authentic Montessori education, effective communication, and personal growth are important parts of our commitment to children and adults at MDS.

Located in beautiful southeastern Connecticut, MDS is a breath of fresh air from the busy city life. Our wetlands and fields provide outdoor explorations for our students as well as a home for our llamas and chickens. Children and staff learn to care for our environment and our animals while gaining independence through our Montessori curriculum. MDS is accredited by the Connecticut Association of Independent Schools and is a member of AMS, and Montessori Schools of Connecticut.

• Bachelors degree required
