Credit Diploma Teachers for the following content areas:

• Math
• Science

Content Specific Certification needed for the following:

• CT Certification - Mathematics, 7-12 (#029), Science 7-12 (#033, #034) and Adult Education High School Credit Diploma Program (#106)

Minimum requirements:

• Must hold or be eligible for the secondary academic or special subject endorsement appropriate for the subject area to be taught in the adult High School Credit Diploma Program; and
• A course of study in special education comprised of not fewer than 36 clock hours, which shall include study in understanding the growth and development of exceptional children, including handicapped and gifted and talented children and children who may require special education, and methods for identifying, planning for and working effectively with special-needs children in the regular classroom.

Prior teaching experience preferred
