ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Sub‑Acute Crisis Stabilization (SACS) program provides short‑term, intensive behavioral health support in a residential setting to youth experiencing acute emotional or psychiatric crises. The program focuses on rapid de‑escalation, stabilization, and connection to ongoing care through a collaborative, trauma‑informed approach. Services include comprehensive assessment, individualized treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and coordination with families, schools, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe and supported transition to the appropriate level of care.

- Provides direct care supervision of clients including building healthy relationships, problem solving, and psychoeducation.
- Provides facilitation, supervision, and support for visits and family connection with parents, relatives and other significant people in the lives of clients.
- Leads and supports staff in crisis intervention efforts; participates in post‑crisis response meetings with program staff and management.
- Teaches and supports development of essential skills, including relationship building, symptom management, emotion regulation, daily living, budgeting, psychoeducation, relapse prevention and community resource linking, and actively plans and participates in activities to enhance these competencies.
- Shows knowledge of and role in individual treatment plans, including their assessment, needs, behavioral goals, and intervention strategies.
- Responsible for providing medication administration and training to staff of medication monitoring procedures in coordination with program nursing and medical staff.
- Assists with administrative functions and tasks as needed at the direction of their supervisor.
- Actively participates in recruitment, interviewing, and hiring processes as directed by program management, ensuring all actions are consistent with agency policy and best practices.
- Coordinates and provides staff training, ensuring compliance with program models.
- Orients and trains new program staff.
- Facilitates staff meetings in the absence of the program supervisor/director.
- Cares for program facilities and equipment. Performs household tasks and duties as assigned and as needed to promote a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Maintains program vehicles to agency standards.
- Transports clients when necessary.
- Maintains documentation in compliance with agency standards.
- Additional duties and assignments as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field. Experience may be used towards the educational requirement.
Experience: At least two years working with the population served in a residential setting, preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Valid driver’s license.
Training: CPR and First Aid within 6 months of hire and program specific trainings/certifications (including but not limited to CARE, TCI).

Starting at $20.00 /hr minimum, and up commensurate with experience. Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience, internal equity, program/location differentials, and sign‑on incentives.
