Schedule hospital-based procedures/surgeries in accordance with physician orders and insurance requirements;
Ensure all necessary paperwork and required pre-surgery tests are completed and communicate pre- and post-surgery instructions to patients;
Reconcile dropped charges to match authorized procedures and escalate as needed;
Maintain resources including insurance portal access and document in EPIC to support insurance authorization;
Coordinate with hospital staff for scheduling according to block times and with inpatient teams for coordination and add-ons
