Surgical Services Scheduler - Urology

Hartford Healthcare -  -  - Responsibilities:
Schedule hospital-based procedures/surgeries in accordance with physician's orders and insurance requirements;
Ensure all necessary paperwork and required tests needed prior to surgery are accurately completed;
Clearly communicate pre- and post-surgery instructions to patients;
Reconcile dropped charges to ensure they match authorized procedures and escalate to appropriate parties;
Maintain and manage resources, including insurance portal access, and provide consistent documentation in EPIC to support insurance authorization
