Human Edge Travel Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Norwich, Connecticut.
Job Description & Requirements- Specialty:
Oncology - Discipline: RN
- Start Date:
ASAP - Duration: 12 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours
- Employment Type:
Travel
Nights | 3x12s | 36 hrs/week
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
On-Call:
None
- Current RN license
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience; oncology experience preferred
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, patient care, and communication skills
- Ability to provide safe, high-quality care independently in a hospital setting
- Provide direct patient care for oncology and med/surg patients during night shifts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure accurate and timely care
- Document patient care accurately in EPIC
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform clinical procedures per hospital protocols
- Support unit workflow and patient safety initiatives
