Paid Personal Care Aide (PCA) Training – No Experience Required

Are you compassionate, dependable, and interested in helping older adults remain safe and independent at home? Assured Quality Homecare (ASQ) will provide the training you need to begin your career as a Personal Care Aide.

No professional caregiving experience is required. Selected applicants will receive paid training through Empower Training Academy at our Norwich corporate office.

• Instructor-led Personal Care Aide training

This is a professional training and employment opportunity. Attendance at every class is mandatory. Participants must arrive on time, remain engaged, complete all program requirements, and be prepared to begin working after graduation.

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily activities
• Support safe walking, mobility, transfers, and exercises
• Prepare meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration
• Provide medication reminders and companionship
• Complete light housekeeping and maintain a safe home environment
• Observe and report changes in the client’s condition

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
• Ability to attend every scheduled training session
• Availability to begin working after completing the program
• Ability to work weekends when matched with a client
• Basic technology and communication skills
• Genuine interest in helping older adults
