Hartford Health Care's Backus Hospital seeks a Chaplain to assess, plan, and provide care and counseling for patients, families, staff and volunteers. The Chaplain represents the hospital to religious communities and delivers 24-hour emergency spiritual care.
Education includes a Master’s degree (M.Div. or Th— preferred).
Experience:
one year as a chaplain, with three years in pastoral care (two in hospital). Four CPE units, ordination/commission and board certification preferred.
