IT Support, IT Business Analyst
Pay Range
Pay Range: $32.05 - $42.73
Reporting to the Technology Services manager, the incumbent works closely with department manager to ensure all departmental tasks are performed within established time frames. Administer, maintain, and recommend improvements on assigned systems. Handles more complex tasks within the department. Responsible for Project Management of special projects as assigned.
Education and ExperienceEducation and Experience:
Associates degree in an Information Technology related discipline or equivalent education and experience 5+ years information technology work experience including 3 years minimum work experience in User Account Administration
- Experience with business continuity planning, testing, auditing, and risk analysis.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory administration and other operating systems.
- Experience administrating application specific user accounts and permissions.
- Must possess analytic skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office. Specifically MS Word and MS Excel.
Unique Job Characteristics and Requirements:
May require nights and weekends. Requires a valid driver’s license.
- 30% Research, analyze and resolve complex problems / issues related to the deparments activity. Assist other department staff by handling escalated customer issues and answering questions.
- 25% Assists all lines of business with user account administration and management for core applications. This will include service pack installation, health checks, licensing, adds, moves and deletes.
- 20% Make daily decisions regarding the assignment of work and the coordination of workflow.
- 10% Responsible for project management of special projects when assigned.
- 10% Responsible for updating and managing department process and procedures in knowledgebase.
- 5% Other duties as assigned.
