Job Summary

Job involves leading daily operations, driving efficiency through lean principles, managing budgets, ensuring quality, and overseeing teams, often within manufacturing or similar industrial settings, requiring strong leadership, problem-solving, and strategic planning to meet company goals for cost, quality, and delivery. Key duties include continuous improvement, resource planning, budget management, and fostering a culture of accountability, blending hands-on work with strategic oversight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Developing operational strategies, setting goals, and planning resource allocation.
  • Operational Excellence: Implementing lean principles, standard work, and continuous improvement to boost throughput and quality.
  • Team Management: Leading, coaching, and developing salaried teams, building a culture of accountability.
  • Financial Management: Managing budgets, monitoring expenses, and working with finance on reporting.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying areas for enhancement, removing constraints, and ensuring efficient workflows.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with other departments (e.g., sales, engineering, finance).
  • Hands-On Oversight: Balancing office planning with direct involvement in daily operations.
