• Clearly and accurately documents pertinent information in the patient's medical record.
• Consistently demonstrates effective documentation practices and develops strategies to ensure complete documentation of patient care.
• Completes timely and ongoing patient assessments and responses to treatments, serving as a key participant on the treatment team.
• Works closely with APRNs and Doctors to ensure appropriate and prescribed treatment plans are followed.
• Oversees triage responsibilities when scheduled.
• Delivers teaching to patients on a variety of subject matters and medication procedures.
• Administers chemotherapy, immunotherapy, intravenous gamma globulin, iron infusions, and growth factor support.

• Current RN license through the state of CT.
• Previous experience accessing ports and placing IV lines.
• Previous experience in oncology and working with an oncology EMR.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and move quickly throughout the infusion center.
