** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.

+ Monitor access points and check credentials, visitor logs, and/or authorization as required by site procedures.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, suspicious activity, and/or property concerns.

+ Observe and report conditions that may impact operations, such as propped doors, malfunctioning locks, lighting issues, and/or hazards, and notify appropriate personnel.

+ Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and/or other required documentation in a timely manner.

+ Provide directions and general assistance, support campus events as assigned, and help maintain orderly movement in high-traffic areas.

+ Communicate clearly with campus staff and/or public responders via radio, phone, and/or other approved methods, following established escalation protocols.

+ Participate in drills, briefings, and training related to emergency procedures, de-escalation, and customer service expectations.

+ Use approved systems and/or equipment such as radios, access control tools, and video monitoring when assigned, following site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.

* + Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
