Field Technician Engineer

Job Summary

Installs, repairs, and provides technical maintenance for PC products and component hardware and software, primarily at customer locations. Ensures systems operate as designed, performs upgrades and maintenance as required, collaborates with technical teams, schedules services, completes administrative activities, and works directly with customers to ensure satisfaction and understanding of product functionality. Must exhibit outstanding customer‑service skills.

• Provides the full range of field‑engineering support for an assigned base of large and/or complex clients.
• Takes complete ownership of onsite service activities.
• Performs advanced‑level maintenance on all products, including lower‑complexity installation activities.
• Provides technical feedback on equipment, systems, and processes to improve service delivery.
• Uses advanced tools and technical knowledge to resolve customer issues and conduct scheduled installations.
• Identifies and resolves systemic issues within the team.
• Provides technical assistance and expertise to other team members.
• Contributes to improved client‑services metrics, reporting, and documentation.
• Monitors technical and process issues and proactively recommends service improvements to management and the team.

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification or Associate Degree preferred.
• Must possess 2‑4 years of experience in field‑engineering responsibilities.
• Must be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government related to export‑controlled commodities and technology.
• Must possess obliging customer‑service aptitude.
