JOB SUMMARY
The Family Resource Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Director of Alliance for Family Support in collaboration with Home Visitors & Clinical Supervisors working for subcontracting agencies. The Family Resource Coordinator is a community based position whose responsibilities include but are not limited to, working alongside Home Visitors evaluating needs of participants, referring clients to community resources, coordinating appointments, providing help with enrollments with diverse resources in the community.
The Family Resource Coordinator assists families in their communications with medical offices, social service agencies, DCF and other organizations. All work with families is short term with the objective of increasing their ability to self-advocate.
