Bob’s Discount Furniture is recruiting a CDL Class A Company Driver for its safety focused private fleet. Drivers are home daily and earn pay based on experience.
Job Responsibilities- Operate tractor with 53’ van trailer on various roads and highways throughout designated Regions.
- Deliver from distribution center to stores and depots throughout the region.
- Operate 100% drop & hook runs primarily at night.
- Maintain compliance with ELD, vehicle condition reports, and all other aspects of DOT compliance.
- Keep updated on current DOT rules and regulations.
- Valid Class A CDL License.
- A clean driving record with no major accidents and no alcohol or drug convictions.
- At least 1 year of all-weather driving experience.
- Ability to communicate proactively and effectively, including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required for the position.
- Compliance with the Americans Disabilities Act (ADA).
- Sign‑On Bonus up to $3,000 for new hires.
- Referral Bonus up to $3,000 for active employees.
- Average earning up to $0.69 per mile (cpm) with an average of 500 miles per night.
- Bonus opportunities for safety, extra stops, and premium 6th‑day pay of an additional $200 on top of extra miles.
- 100% of runs are drop‑and‑hook, no‑touch freight.
- Evening runs when traffic is lighter.
