Part-time Housekeeper

A warm and welcoming family is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to support the upkeep and smooth running of their beautiful Buckinghamshire residence.

This is a long-term opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining a home to an exceptional standard. The successful candidate will be organised, discreet and capable of working independently, ensuring the property remains immaculate and well-presented at all times.

• Maintaining the home to an immaculate standard
• Cleaning, dusting, vacuuming and mopping throughout the property
• Caring for bedrooms, bathrooms, reception rooms and guest accommodation
• Making beds and changing linens
• Organising household storage areas, cupboards and living spaces
• Managing recycling and seasonal deep cleans
• Caring for fine furnishings, delicate surfaces and valuable household items

• Managing all household laundry and ironing
• Handwashing delicate garments when required
• Organising wardrobes and maintaining linen inventories
• Loading and unloading dishwashers
• Organising pantries, refrigerators and household supplies
• Receiving and putting away household and grocery deliveries

• Greeting contractors, deliveries and service providers
• Providing access to tradespeople when required
• Reporting maintenance issues and ensuring the home remains well maintained
• Watering indoor plants and assisting with the presentation of outdoor living areas

• Previous private household experience
• Excellent housekeeping and laundry skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
• Proactive, trustworthy and able to work independently
• Warm, professional and discreet
• Full UK driving licence preferred
• Enhanced DBS preferred

• No cooking or childcare duties are required
• The family is seeking a reliable and long-term Housekeeper who can take ownership of the role and maintain the home to the highest standards with minimal supervision
