Position: Plasterer / Multi-Trade
Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Plasterer / Multi-Trade to work on Void & Reactive contracts to local social housing contracts, predominantly in Norwich but travel across Norfolk may be required in the future.

They are currently recruiting for an experienced plasterer to work on a domestic maintenance contract carrying out work in properties across the area. The candidate will ideally be a skilled and experienced plasterer/multi- trade who ideally holds skills in other trades such as carpentry, tiling and painting and decorating.

The successful individual will ideally hold a minimum level 2 NVQ or be time served whilst also being experienced in completing various other day to day repairs/maintenance tasks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

-Management of day to day jobs allocated by a central team.
-Updating PDA devices with key information and work schedules.
-To ensure all assigned tasks are carried out in a safe and efficient standard.
-Promoting the client’s corporate image and excellent service standard on every resident visit.
-Making decisions upon specialist experience and knowledge.
-Ensuring compliance at all times with necessary regulations, standards, and legal responsibilities of repair work and contractor compliance.
-Managing van stock effectively.
-Taking part in out of hours on call system as required by the service.
-Knowledge and Experience

- Experience with in a domestic maintenance environment.
-Multi Trade experience
-Excellent customer service skills as will be working in tenanted properties

Details

Pay: £37,000 - £39,000 per annum. Fuel paid at 0.45p per mile from start to finish.

Hours 8am - 5pm and hour unpaid lunch.

- Temporary to permanent after 13 weeks from agency to the client
- Own van and tools required, however at 13 weeks a van and fuel card will be provided.
- Asbestos awareness course provided by ourselves. DBS will be required from the client.
- 8am - 5pm one hour lunch unpaid - no travel time paid but works will try and be close
- On call once every four weeks

3 points max ideally on Driving License
