Fire Alarm Engineer

Typically, this person will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and commissioning of fire alarm systems across a range of commercial, domestic, and construction sites. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong fault‑finding skills and a good understanding of current fire safety standards.

• Installation of fire alarm systems (conventional and addressable)
• Servicing, maintenance, and fault‑finding of fire alarm systems
• Commissioning and handover of completed installations
• Carrying out works in line with BS5839 regulations
• Working on temporary and permanent installations across various sites
• Completing job documentation and reports accurately and on time

• Minimum 5 years' experience within fire alarm installation and maintenance
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of current fire safety standards and regulations (BS5839)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer‑facing skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
