Gas Engineer

Locations:
Multiple opportunities across East Anglia, working 40 hrs per week, Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain and repair heating systems across a range of fuel types, including domestic gas, oil, and solid fuel, for domestic and social housing properties.

* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including Gas Safe and OFTEC standards.

* Carry out reactive repairs, servicing of boilers, fires, and other appliances in line with manufacturer instructions and industry best practices.

* Issue safety certificates and keep accurate records using electronic or manual systems.

* Manage stock replenishment efficiently and liaise with approved suppliers.

* Participate in the on-call rota to provide 24/7 emergency cover across our property portfolio.

Minimum

Essential Criteria :

* Gas related qualifications - Domestic: ACS, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1

* Proven track record in a service or maintenance engineering role, particularly responding to breakdown scenarios.

* Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

* Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

* A full UK driving licence is required.

Skills and Aptitudes:

* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.

* Strong technical acumen with experience using a variety of diagnostic tools and software.

* Outstanding communication skills, able to interact effectively with stakeholders and customers
