Banksman & Hoist Operator – Central Norwich – Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting for:

* 1 x Banksman / Traffic Marshal

* 1 x Hoist Operator

to join a busy commercial construction project in Central Norwich on an ongoing 3-month contract, with immediate starts available.

Banksman / Traffic Marshal – Role & Responsibilities

Duties Include:

* Safely guiding and directing vehicle movements on site

* Maintaining clear communication with drivers and plant operators

* Ensuring pedestrian and vehicle safety at all times

* Keeping site access routes clear and organised

* Supporting site teams with general labouring duties when required

* Assisting with moving materials and maintaining overall site cleanliness

Requirements:

* Valid Banksman / Traffic Marshal ticket and CSCS

* Previous Banksman or Traffic Marshal experience preferred

* Strong communication skills and awareness of site safety procedures

* Reliable, punctual, and hard-working attitude

Hoist Operator – Role & Responsibilities

Duties Include:

* Operating the site hoist safely and efficiently

* Transporting workers and materials between floors

* Carrying out daily checks on hoist equipment

* Ensuring safe loading and unloading procedures are followed

* Reporting faults or safety concerns immediately

* Assisting with labouring duties and general site support when required

Requirements:

* Valid Hoist Operator ticket

* Valid NPORS or CPCS

* Previous experience operating hoists on commercial construction projects

* Strong understanding of health & safety regulations

* Ability to work effectively as part of a busy site team
