About the RoleWe are looking to recruit Apprentice Lift Engineers to join our Maintenance and Repair division in Norwich. The role covers a route across Norwich and surrounding areas, offering a starting salary of £17,679 with regular performance reviews and a comprehensive benefits package.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:45 and Friday 08:00-15:45.
Responsibilities- Shadow qualified engineers assisting with the servicing and repair of lifts.
- Attend distance learning courses and complete coursework on time and to a high standard.
- Attend training and mentoring sessions, both in person and online.
- Participate in at least 20% off-job training.
- Demonstrate the aptitude and behaviours of a future Stannah Lift Engineer.
- Duration of 40 months.
- A mix of practical, mentoring and structured learning at our training centre.
- Achieve a qualification in Lift Engineering.
- Minimum GCSE Grade 4-9 (A-C) in Maths and English.
- Must have an interest in engineering or experience in a related role.
- A valid driving licence or the ability to obtain one.
