Job Description Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer Multiple Locations – , CO, CB & IP Postcodes £37,000 - £42,000 per annum Company Van & Tools Provided Service
Service Service is recruiting for experienced Gas Service & Breakdown Engineers to join a well-established organisation covering multiple areas across East Anglia. This is a field-based role carrying out servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs on domestic heating systems. You will work independently across a range of properties, managing both planned and reactive work while providing a professional service to customers.
Key Responsibilities- Service, maintain and repair domestic heating systems
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective first-time fixes
- Complete safety checks, certification and accurate documentation
- Provide excellent customer service during every visit
- Participate in an on-call rota for emergency repairs
- Manage vehicle stock, materials and equipment
- Work safely and in line with Gas Safe and company procedures
- Proven experience in domestic gas servicing, maintenance and breakdowns
- Current ACS and relevant domestic gas qualifications
- CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, MET1, HWSS1 and CMDDA1
- Water Regulations (WREG) qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload
- £37,000 - £42,000 per annum
- Company van and tools provided
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
