An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join a growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, testing and repairing a range of fire alarm and life-safety systems across customer sites.
The role will suit an experienced engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing of fire alarm systems.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and professionally.
- Undertake testing, inspection and commissioning of fire alarm equipment.
- Complete service reports and relevant documentation accurately.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with current industry standards and legislation.
- Liaise professionally with customers and provide clear explanations of any faults or remedial works required.
- Work independently while maintaining close communication with the wider engineering team.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Previous experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- A good understanding of relevant fire alarm standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage a busy schedule.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Relevant industry qualifications or manufacturer training would be advantageous.
£39,520 per year
