Air Conditioning Engineer

About The Role

Days of Working:
Monday to Friday, (08:00-17:00 with call-out rota 1 in 4 weeks)

To support the line manager in the delivery of facilities management to an educational building. The successful candidate will be have previous experience within Air Conditioning on commercial/educational buildings and F-Gas qualified, with further HVAC qualifications and/or experience being desirable.

• To ensure the safe, satisfactory performance and further development of all contracts and accounts for which he is responsible.
• Take an active role in the management of all quality, environmental and health & safety issues on the site for which he/she is responsible in compliance with company policies and arrange Compliance with contractual requirements.
• Ensure the Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance are carried out to the correct specification with regards to both frequency and quality.
• Organise and manage the AC maintenance schedule in compliance with current legislation and as detailed in the CAFM system.

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, or equivalent
• F-Gas certification
• Desirable to have additional HVAC or electrical qualifications
• IPAF and PASMA certification
• Full UK driving license

• Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs using company systems.
• Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients and site staff professionally.
• Support other engineers and trades as required, contributing to team goals.
• Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota and overtime as required.
• Proven experience in a similar role within facilities management or building services.
• Good knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
