Agricultural Service Technician

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading agricultural machinery dealer, who are looking to employ a new Agricultural Technician to service their client base across East Anglia. Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs across a wide range of agricultural and horticultural machinery
Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using the latest diagnostic software and technology
Develop and maintain technical knowledge across a diverse range of machinery, equipment and manufacturers
Work closely with the Service Manager to ensure all servicing and repair work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
Represent the company professionally when visiting customers on-site, delivering excellent customer service at all times Requirements

The company has a preference for an individual from an agricultural background, but this is not essential. They are open to considering candidates from other backgrounds including heavy plant, commercial vehicles and other related sectors provided you have strong experience and/or relevant qualifications. You will have excellent communication skills and be willing to participate in training to improve and further your skills.

Furthermore, the candidate will also be required to work overtime during peak periods. In terms of location, you will need to be based in Norfolk.
