At Crown Garage, we're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our friendly, established independent garage.

We've been looking after local motorists since 1932, and we believe in doing things properly from the work we carry out to the way we treat our team.

• £35,000–£45,000 salary, depending on experience
• Monday–Friday working
• NO WEEKENDS
• 42.5 hours per week
• Performance-related bonus
• MOT tester training paid for

You'll work on a varied range of vehicles, carrying out:

• Servicing and maintenance
• Diagnostics and fault-finding
• General mechanical repairs
• Brakes, suspension and steering
• Tyres and wheel-related work
• Air-conditioning
• MOT testing, if qualified

You'll work alongside an experienced technician and apprentice, with our director also working in the workshop and carrying out MOTs.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has Level 3 qualifications or equivalent experience
• Is confident diagnosing and repairing vehicles
• Takes pride in producing quality work
• Can work independently and use their initiative
• Is reliable, professional and a good team player
• Holds a full UK driving licence

Already an MOT tester? Excellent.

Not qualified yet? No problem. We'll pay for your MOT tester training if you're the right person for the role.
