Banking & Factory Payable Team Member

The Accounting - Banking & Factory Payable Team Member supports centralized dealership accounting operations by ensuring accurate entry of factory payable invoices, timely processing of received funds, and precise clearing of financial records. This role partners closely with parts managers and accounting leadership to resolve discrepancies, reinforce standards, and support month-end close activities. • Invoice Processing:
  Process factory payable invoices through accounting entries.
• Fund Management:
  Process incoming funds, ensuring entry accuracy.
• Reconciliations:
  Reconcile month-end factory statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Month End Support:
  Support month-end close activities related to factory payables, statements and received funding.
• General Ledger Support:
  Support the reconciliation of accounting schedules and balances to the general ledger.
• Communication:
  Communicate with management and dealership locations to resolve accounting issues.
• Record Keeping:
  Maintain organized records.
• Audit Assistance:
  Assist with audit requests, documentation reviews, and internal control verification.
• Process Improvement:
  Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement in factory payables and banking workflows.

• Invoice Accuracy:
  Ensure factory invoices are entered accurately and reflected correctly within dealership systems.
• Funding Transactions:
  Process incoming funding transactions with precision and within established timelines.

  Support timely month-end close and financial reporting through diligent banking and factory payable activities.

• Previous dealership accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of vehicle inventory accounting, including new, used, and wholesale vehicles.
• Experience with banking / funding and accounts payable processing.
• Familiarity with dealership DMS systems (e.g., Tekion, Reynolds & Reynolds) preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and basic accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Service-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and follow-through.

Salary: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
