- Assist in audit engagements, including:
- Preparing work papers and financial statements
- Performing account reconciliations
- Testing internal controls
- Support tax preparation, including:
- Individual and business tax returns
- Gathering and organizing client financial data
- Conduct financial analysis and basic research on accounting issues
- Work with senior accountants and managers on client engagements
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and firm standards
- Communicate with clients to request documents and clarify information
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's a plus)
- CPA track (150 credits or working toward it)
- Internship or relevant experience preferred but not required
- Strong Excel skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines (especially during busy season)
- Willingness to learn and take feedback
- Team-oriented mindset
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Staff Accountant → Senior Accountant (2–3 years) → Manager → Senior Manager
- Hybrid or in-office depending on location
- Busy season (Jan–April) may require extended hours
- Training and mentorship programs provided
- Salary: ~$65K–$75K (entry-level range)
