- Manage the timely completion of the month-end financial close assignments
- Demonstrate awareness of all elements of the plant's financial statements
- Assist in preparing post-closing plant financial analysis, performance reports and meaningful commentary
- Partner with the Controller to prepare and coordinate the annual budget at the plant level.
- Partner with the Controller to prepare, maintain and analyze product standard costs
- Support the analytical needs of the Controller and other financial management
- Partner with plant management to increase plant efficiency and profitability
- Prepare analysis to understand the financial ramifications of current and proposed business actions
- Identify issues and proactively initiate analyses / solutions to plant issues
- Ensure compliance with CT and SGC policies and procedures
- Oversee and reconcile inventory cycle counts and annual physical inventory
- Assist in preparation of capital appropriations requests
- Track cost reduction projects and maintain required reporting
- Support six sigma by auditing results, training black belts, and suggesting new projects.
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance,
o Minimum 2 years of progressive cost accounting and analysis experience with a manufacturing organization. A strong emphasis should be put on knowledge of management accounting, cost and inventory accounting, and GAAP
o Strong analytical skills are required to quickly grasp issues impacting the plant's financial results
o Strong IT aptitude to deliver effective desktop reporting (paperless web-enabled environment), utilize business warehouse tools and MS Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentations
o Excellent communication and presentation skills are required
o Ability to manage projects, work independently, and communicate effectively to all areas and levels of the location
o Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across plant and functional organizations.
o Strong sense of customer service

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $81,500.00 to $ per year.
However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $89,600.00 to $. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
