Automotive Service Advisor

Join the team at Jack Madden Ford Sales Inc as an Automotive Service Advisor in Norwood, MA. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for maintenance and repairs. You will work closely with service technicians to ensure customers receive timely, high-quality service and clear communication about their vehicle’s needs. Your ability to provide excellent customer service and manage service appointments efficiently will contribute to the overall satisfaction and loyalty of our clientele.

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, listening carefully to their vehicle concerns and service requests.
• Schedule service appointments and maintain effective communication throughout the service process.
• Provide accurate estimates for required repairs and maintenance based on service technician assessments.
• Explain service recommendations, pricing, and timelines clearly to customers.
• Coordinate with service technicians and parts department to ensure prompt and efficient vehicle repair and maintenance.
• Manage customer records and service invoices accurately using dealership management systems.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Maintain a clean and organized service reception area.

• Previous experience as an automotive service advisor or in a customer service role within an automotive environment is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to explain technical information in a clear and understandable way.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and dealership management software.
• Basic understanding of automotive systems and service processes.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
