Standard Rec. creates premium custom apparel for the world’s top resorts, golf clubs, and destinations. We combine design expertise with modern technology to deliver elevated collections and custom graphics that bring each brand to life.
The RoleWe’re looking for a detail-loving, brand-savvy apparel graphic designer to join our small but mighty team. In this role, you’ll shape customer assortments — selecting garment colors, configuring graphics, preparing production-ready artwork, and working closely with sales to deliver an elevated experience to every account. This is a fast-paced, creative role in a startup environment, where your ideas will have a direct impact and your work will be seen and worn by thousands at iconic resorts, golf clubs, and destinations.
This is a full-time, on-site role at our Norwood, MA studio.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with sales to build thoughtful, brand-aligned assortments
- Select garment and graphic color combinations that feel elevated and balanced
- Integrate logos and graphics seamlessly with customer brand standards
- Refine assortments based on customer and sales feedback
- Set up approved assortments in customer online shops
- Manage daily production design workflow using automation tools
- Prepare production-ready artwork for factory partners
- Support custom graphic requests for seasonal capsules, trade shows, and special projects
- 2-4 years of professional design experience
- Expertise in Adobe Illustrator and Creative Suite
- Great eye for color, typography, and balance
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed
- Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
- Passion for branding and product design
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
